The Daily Sun 8/6/1946 Charles Knopp, former Flagstaff resident when he was employed at the Arizona Lumber and Timber Company, died at his home in Los Angeles, Sunday, July 28, and interment was in the California city, according to word reaching friends here. The deceased was 82 or 83 years of age, and went to the California City about 20 years ago. For a mumber of years he was employed at the Southern Pacific Railroad Company there. His wife and son preceded him n death, and his only survivors are two sisters (whose names were not learned) who reside in Chicago. He visited here year before last during the summer and often made trips here to visit many of the old timers. He worked at the mill more than 35 years.
