Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Tuesday, March 30, 2010 Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Ed Reuter, 82, passed away peacefully at home, with his loving wife, Barbara, at his side Sunday, March 28, 2010. Ed was born April 20, 1927, in Kansas City, Mo., to Edgar and Elizabeth Reuter and traveled the country extensively while growing up. Ed served his country in the U.S. Navy and later married his high-school sweetheart, Barbara Beck. Ed worked as an investigator for the insurance industry and in private practice while raising a family in Chatsworth, Calif. After retirement in 1986, Ed and Barbara moved to Lake Havasu City where he enjoyed many activities including boating, raising Basenji dogs, collecting and woodworking. Ed is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Reuter; daughter, Diana Reuter, of Las Vegas, Nev.; son, Marc (Connie) Reuter, of Atkins, Ark.; and grandchildren, Carrie (Jason) Moran, Robert (Amanda) Reuter, and Samantha Reuter.
