Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Tuesday, March 23, 2010 Donald Harrington, 89, died March 20, 2010 in Lake Havasu City. He was born in Flint, Mich., in 1920, to Russell and Hazel Harrington. Don retired from Buick Motor Division in 1974 after 30 years of service and moved to Arizona. He served six years in World War II and two years in the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Air Force. Don was a 32nd Degree Mason in the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Phoenix and lifetime member of the Masonic Fellowship Lodge 490 in Flint, Mich. He was a past member of the Genesee County Radio Club and a lifetime member of the London Bridge ARA. Don is survived by his wife of 64 years, Gloria; two sons, Craig Harrington, of Davison, Mich., and Blair Harrington, of Lake Havasu City; two grandchildren, Sandra Harrington, of Flint, Mich., and Matthew Harrington, of Burton, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother. There will be no services. Cremation has already taken place. Donations may be made to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
