WALTERS, Monte

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, June 2, 2010 Monte Walters, 77, died May 29, 2010, in Winslow. He was born Dec. 11, 1932, in Winslow. Mr. Walters had a full and varied life that included working for many ranches, railroads and participating in rodeos. He was a member of Cowboys Association of America and a champion bull rider in 1952. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and many animals. Mr. Walters is survived by his brothers, Dan and Jerry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Virgie; and sister Ruby.
