Hazel Mary Witte 1921 - 2010
Hazel Mary Witte, 89 of Cottonwood, passed away May 19, 2010. She was born May 5, 1921 in Chicago, Ill., to Albert and Gertrude (Voss) Adams.
Hazel volunteered at Northern Arizona Hopi Museum. She attended Congregation Church.
Hazel collected Hopi Kachinas and jewelry. She also enjoyed traveling. She visited Japan, China, Germany and Alaska. She was also an avid Bridge and Duplicate player.
Hazel was a devoted mother and wife who always placed the welfare of her family before her own. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Gertrude Adams. She is survived by husband of 62 years, Robert W. Witte; sons Robert R. Witte (Mary) of Cottonwood and Douglas N. Witte of Snowflake; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave, Cottonwood.
