Stella Cordova Quintana, 66, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at her residence in Springerville. She was born Nov. 20, 1943, in Morenci, the daughter of Ernest and Charlotta Cordova.
Stella was a teacher and a homemaker. She had a passion for crafts. She loved to help people and she always made people laugh. Stella will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her husband Efrain Quintana; sons Marty, Joey and Travis Armijo of Springerville; daughter Dolores Finegold of Ahwatukee; stepchildren Candace, Patricia, Luz and Luis; brothers Ernie Cordova and Chris Cordova; sisters Violet Mills, Yolanda Cordova, Dolly Baca, and Tina Gonzalez; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents; son Troy and sisters Laura Ruther, Catherine Marie Cordova, and Zella Baldonado.
Visitation was held May 28 at Burnham Mortuary in Eagar. Rosary and funeral services were held May 29 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Springerville.
