The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 05/03/2005 Jennifer Marie Somnis, 27, died Thursday, April 27, 2005. She was born in Prescott. Her family moved to Minnesota when she was an infant, they moved back to Arizona when she was 9, living in Phoenix. They moved to Pahrump, Nev. for a brief period before settling in Show Low in 1990. Jennifer attended Show Low High School. Following school she worked as a waitress, then becoming a plumber with Maxwell Plumbing in Show Low. Jennifer is survived by her son, Dakota James Somnis of Show Low; father, Thomas Somnis, Jr. of Tofte, Minn.; mother, Cynthia M. Cole of Show Low, step father, John H. Cole III of Lakeside; brother, Jeremy Thomas Somnis of Grand Marais, Minn.; sister, Amanda JoLynn Banford of Show Low; maternal grandmother, JoAnn Sotak of Show Low; maternal grandfather and step grandmother, Stanley Wayne and Charlotte Nelson of Tofte, Minn.; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Rosie Somnis of Schroeder, Minn. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Dallas Jeramichael Somnis. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 3 at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Show Low.
