The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 05/03/2005 Mary Allison Shaw, 72, died Friday, April 22, 2005 at Navapache Regional Medical Center in Show Low. She was born in Tucson where she raised and graduated from high school. Mary's life was devoted to raising her family. In her free time she liked to cook and also enjoyed gardening. Mary also enjoyed fishing, and working crossword puzzles in her free time, as well as reading. In 1975 Mary moved to Pinetop. She was active in the Senior Patrol and believed in exercising her voice in the community, although she was a very quiet person. Mary will be dearly missed. Mary is survived by her two daughters, Linda Black of Show Low, Debbie (Jeff) Pundt of Tucson; one son, Ron Shaw of Lakeside; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Floyd of Virginia; two brothers, Kenneth Hopkins of California, Hank Hopkins of Idaho; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Lorraine Mickna and Rola Mae Spansel; brother, Jim Hopkins Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2005 at the South Lawn Cemetery in Tucson.
