James W. VanDuzer, 82, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at his home in Prescott Valley, Ariz. He was born Oct. 23, 1924, in Wilmington, Calif., to Ernest and Olga VanDuzer.
Mr. VanDuzer was retired and moved to Arizona from California in 1983 and Prescott Valley from Wickenburg in 1993.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen, of 57 years, who passed on Aug. 15, 2001.
He enjoyed many activities, mostly woodworking and membership and various positions in the Easter Star organization.
Surviving are his daughters, Sandra, of Carson, Calif., Teresa Stoops, of Prescott Valley, and Susan Wyman of Prescott Valley; sons, Douglas of Lakewood, Calif. and William of Fresno, Calif; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Private family services will be at the Wickenburg Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Granite Mountian Hospice and Home Care of Prescott, Ariz.
Sunrise Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
