Clyde Forrest Kidd passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007. He was born Aug. 26, 1922, in Forrest, Ohio, the son of Clyde and Lorna (Cessna) Kidd.
He served in World War II in the 233rd AAA Anti-Aircraft Artillery Searchlight Battalion, in the Pacific theater.
Clyde was the first principal of Coronado High in Scottsdale, and later served as principal for Bisbee and Prescott High Schools. He retired in 1983 and resided in Prescott, Ariz.
Clyde is survived by his children, Gary and Lori Kidd, of Prescott, Ariz., and Holly and Chris Wetz, of Riverview, Fla., and by his grandchildren, Heather, Matthew and Zach.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Kidd.
The Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Prescott Samaritan Village, or to Johns Hopkins Hospital for Cancer Research.
