The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 05/13/2005 Robert George Thompson Robert "Bob" Thompson, 44, died May 7, 2005, while riding his bike north of Springerville on Highway 60. Bob was born Nov. 5, 1960 to George R. and Lita Thompson in Long Beach, N.Y. He was a cabinetmaker by trade. He was a volunteer at Adobe Mountain Wildlife. Bob loved spending time with his family and being outdoors. He had a big heart and would go out of his way to be of service to someone in need. Bob had been a Springerville resident for almost a year. He made his home with his mother, Lita Thompson. His survivors include his mother, Lita Thompson, Springerville; and sister Debra Dickinson, N.Y.; nephew Eric Dickinson and nieces Kathryn, Joanna and Sara Dickinson, N.Y.
