The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 05/20/2005 Clifford Johnson, 43, of Joseph City, died Sunday May 15, 2005 as a result of injuries suffered in a car accident. He was born in San Bernardino, California to Robert (Bob) and June Johnson of Joseph City. Clifford has been a resident of Joseph City since 1971. He graduated from Joseph City high school in 1980. Cliff was the plant manager for Quality Ready Mix and had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, and farming. Cliff loved life and really enjoyed his family and friends. Cliff is survived by the love of his life and companion, Jody Hall; daughters, Amanda Darlene Johnson and Nicole Flaherty; Jody's daughters, Angel Marie and Estella Ann Beecroft; brother, Dale Johnson of Joseph City; sisters, Sandra Slifer of Camp Verde and Nancy Young of Mesa; nieces and nephews, Heidi Volz, Brittany Johnson, Zane Ewton and Ryan Young. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Holbrook. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 20 at Owens Mortuary in Holbrook. Interment will be in the Joseph City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at Wells Fargo Bank in Holbrook for Clifford Johnson. Owens Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
