SUSSMAN, Stuart Paul


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, July 29, 2007 Stuart Paul Sussman, 56, passed away quietly at hone on July 21, 2007, comforted by his loved ones. He was born on April 28, 1951, in Baltimore, Md., to Willie and Mollie Sussman. Stuart left Baltimore for Tucson, Ariz., when he was 19, where he met his lovely wife, Cynthia Fimbrez. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. Stuart then started a career of 35 years as a registered respiratory therapist. In 1983 he moved his family from Tucson to Prescott where he was employed at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center for 24 years. During his employment he developed many close friends and ties. He was an avid runner, hiker, biker and skier. He loved to play softball, tennis, basketball and bowl. Stuart is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cynthia Fimbrez; daughter, Leah Sussman; stepchildren, Michael and Diana Fimbrez; and two grandchildren, Michael and John Pablo; his older brother, Ronald Sussman; his nephews Asher and Trent and niece, Kerra Sussman, all of Tucson. Stuart was also very fond of animals. The Humane Society will be taking donations in his name. Stuart will be loved and missed by his family, friends, teammates and pets. There will be no services.
