STEUCK, Ruby JoAnn (Sarge)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 05/27/2005 Ruby JoAnn Steuck JoAnn Steuck, 66, died May 21, 2005 at RTA Hospice and Palliative Care in Lakeside. JoAnn "Sarge" was born in N. Carolina where she grew up one of five sisters and one brother. She met and married Gary Hollifield, they had two children, Cheryl and Keith. She was a homemaker in her early years. When she moved to Tucson she worked as office manager at the NCO Club at Davis Montan AFB and also as a realtor. In 1976 she moved to the White Mountains and purchased the Ranch House which she operated for the next 20 years. During this time she met and married Harry Steuck. They purchased Diversified Rentals. In her free time JoAnn loved gambling in Laughlin and also enjoyed golfing. She was a strong willed, capable business woman. She will be missed by all. JoAnn is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Hollifield of Snowflake; two grandsons, Lucas Bradford and Steven Steuck; two sisters, Jean and Judy of N. Carolina and many other family members, including Dan and Sharon Steuck, Larry Steuck and Cheryl Steuck. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to RTA Hospice, Lakeside, Ariz. 85929.
