LULOFF, Charlotte Henrietta (Dolly)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 05/31/2005 Charlotte Henrietta "Dolly" Luloff Charlotte Henrietta Luloff, 86, died Tuesday May 24, 2005, at "The Carriage House" in Snowflake where she was known as "The Greeter." Always welcoming guests with her big friendly smile. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Frank Luloff of 50 years. She was born in the small town of Piru, Calif., Jan. 30, 1919 where she acquired the nick-name Dolly because she looked like a little doll with her curly hair, and the name stuck throughout the years. Most of her education was in the Los Angeles area, where she graduated from Garfield High School in Los Angeles, Calif. She worked for Sears Roebuck until her retirement. Upon retirement she and her beloved husband moved to Lakeport, Calif. at Clearlake, to enjoy retirement with their friends. They lived there until his death. Upon his death she moved to Canyon Country, Calif. to be with her daughter and son-in-law until they retired and all moved to Show Low five and a half years ago. She is survived by her only daughter Charlene Hostetler; son-in-law Steven Hostetler of Show Low; sister, Ruth Doyle; and niece Susan Escalante of Bakersfield, Calif. Private services have been held.
