William George Persons passed away May 22, 2010 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 69. He was born to George and Della (Willmsen) Persons on Feb. 5, 1941.

William moved to Lake Havasu City 12 years ago from Wild Rose, Wis. He graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee, Wis. in 1959. William served two years in the United States Army stationed in Germany. He served 28 years as a police officer in Milwaukee, retiring in 1993. William was a member of the Retired Police Association of Milwaukee County.

William leaves behind his two brothers, Robert Persons, of Madison, Wis., and John Persons, of Grand Prairie, Tex.
