STANLEY, Carol Lynne

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Thursday, June 3, 2010 Carol Lynne Stanley, former Lake Havasu City resident, died May 22, 2010 in a Reno, Nev. hospital. She died of lung problems that she had suffered from for many years. She had recently made her home in Reno. Carol was a vivacious, happy, fun loving person-one who never met a stranger. She loved Lake Havasu City and made many friends here but she was advised that the sand dust aggravated her lungs, and she could no longer live here. Carol is survived by her daughter, Starla Jean Moore (Bob), of Reno, Nev.; two grandchildren, Gregory, of Reno, and Maigen, with the National Guard in Kansas City, Kan.; her mother, Marie Reeves and her sister, Sandra Garteiz (Bill) of Lake Havasu City; her only remaining aunt and uncle, Forrest and Ruth Johnson, of Longview, Wash.; also many cousins; and her dear friends, Glenna, Dianne, and Chad Boden, of Lake Havasu City. Her wishes were to be cremated and her remains to be interned in Thermopolis, Wyo. There will be memorial services at that time. Condolences may be sent to Mrs. Robert Moore, 17750 Davenport Lane, Reno, Nev. 89508.
