The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/10/2005 John Gallegos, age 81, of Corona, California died Friday, April 22, 2005 at his residence. John was born Nov. 5, 1923 in McNary, AZ. He was an accountant for 58 years, and was a long time resident and businessman, a member of the American Legion and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. John had over 25 years of sobriety (AA). John is survived by his four daughters, Maxine Ulibarri of Torrance, California, Marion Chavez of Scottsdale, Marcia Gallegos and Michelle Frantz, both of Phoenix, Arizona; sister, Mary Duran of Holbrook; brother, Jake Salazar of Holbrook; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Owens Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
