RICHARDS, Roy L.

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 30, 1977 Roy L. Richards, who with his late father, W.L. Richards, owned and operated the Brayton Commercial in Wickenburg for many years, died June 14th in a Glendale, California hospital. Mr. Richards, whose birthplace was Jasper, Tennessee, was a charter member of the Round-up Club; a fifty year member of the Masonic Lodge and Past Master of Hassayampa Lodge no 37; Past Patron of Hassayampa Chapter Order of the Eastern Star; a long time member of the local Rotary Club; served many years on the local school board; was an elder in the Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Vesta, of Glendale, California; two sons, William of Simi Valley, California, and Robert of Cottonwood, Arizona; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Lou Antrim and Mrs. Dottie Danielson, both of Phoenix; and three grandsons. Memorial services were held on June 20 followed by graveside Masonic services. Entombment was in Grand View Memorial Park, Glendale.
