Douglas Leroy Wagner, age 74, died Sunday, feb. 21, 2010 at Kingman Region Medical Center after a long battle with heart disease.

Mr. Wagner is survived by his wife of 54 years, Harriet; five children; Robin Shephard, Bonnie Koenig, Laura Parchen, Jeanette Helms and Arnold Kujala. He also leaves behind five grandchildren; Douglas Helms, Brandy Calicott, Erica White, Tara Reilly, Allison Whitlock and 13 great-grandchildren.

Douglas was a Marine veteran of the Korean War. He was born on April 11, 1935 in Windom, Minn., to Donal and Dena Wagner. After retiring from a 40-year career as a mechanic for UPS in Oregon, he and his wife moved to Lake Havasu City.
