JUNEAU, Walter Leo

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Friday, February 12, 2010 Walter Leo Juneau, 79, a Lake Havasu City pioneer now of Scottsdale, passed away Feb. 1, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jeanne; children, Lee, Greg and Lori Westall; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was born July 18, 1930, in Lincoln, N.H., and moved to Pasadena, Calif., where he met his wife, Jeanne, at Pasadena City College. Walt was part owner of Tanner and Macy Plastering Co. in California, and then went into real estate in Glendora, Calif., then Lake Havasu City and Fountain Hills, where he was part owner of a Century 21. Walt retired 15 years ago, and when his wife retired, they golfed together a lot. Prior to retiring, Walt and his wife did a lot of traveling to the Caribbean to snorkel and scuba dive. Private services were held at Paradise Memorial Gardens in Scottsdale. My heartfelt thanks to Premier Hospice that assisted and saw to Walt’s comfort.
