Lynn Hewitt Brown, 79, died June 12, 2005 at his home in Snowflake after a lengthy illness.
He was born Feb. 25, 1926 in Reno, Nevada and was raised in Phoenix until joining the Navy. He served in the Pacific Campaign during Would War II and received several medals including The distinguished Flying Cross.
Lynn is survived by his wife, Georgia; five daughters, Lucie Heisler of Snowflake, Beverly Witty of Glendale, Pamela Marberry, Susan Boyd and Tine Brown-Lozana all of Porterville, CA; three sons, David Witty and Paul Witty of Oregon and Jack Witty of Las Vegas, NV; one brother, William of Tennessee and one sister Esther A. Bombard of Yuma; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his sons David and Michael Brown and daughter Lynne Turner.
