BLANTON, Lillian A.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/17/2005 Lillian A. Blanton, 80, of Pinetop died Saturday, June 10, 2005 at Navapache Regional Medical Center. She was born April 23, 1925 in Kansas to David and Maud (Kincaid) Williams. She moved to Phoenix at age six and graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1943. She was married to James L. Blanton. She worked for many years in the payroll department at Union High School retiring in 1987. She and her husband had spent summers in Pinetop since 1962. She was a member of the National Education Association, Roosevelt School District P.T.A., loved auto racing and the White Mountains. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1997. She is survived by a son, James G. Blanton of Phoenix. Services will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary June 22 at 10 a.m. She will be buried at Greenwood Cemetery following the services. Local arrangements were handled by Black's Mortuary of Show Low.
