Michael Wayne Mathews, 54, died June 6, 2005 at his home in Roosevelt. 
      
Michael, an Arizona native, was born in McNary and worked as a laborer in construction. He served his country in the Army.
      
He is survived by his father Calvin Mathews of Vernon; and sister Rosemary Watson of Pinetop.
      
Private services will be held.
      
Lamont Mortuary of Globe handled arrangements.
