The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, July 10, 2007 Ruth L. Benest, 84, homemaker, died July 7, 2007. A memorial open house will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Culbertson – Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita, Kan. Ruth was born Sept. 23, 1922, in Hutchinson, Kan., daughter of the late Jay and Bess (Dorland) Renicker. On June 29, 1945, she married Gene Benest. He passed away in 1993. Survivors include her children, Tricia (Lee) Deines, of Kechi, Kan., Gary (Janet) Benest, of Wichita, Alan Benest of Dallas; grandchildren, Alan Benest and Ann Benest; siblings, Marie Morris, of Kingman, Ariz., and Leon Renicker, of Colorado Springs, Colo. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Information provided by survivors.
