KEARNEY, Robert Lloyd

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, July 10, 2007 Robert L. Kearney of Dewey, Ariz., born in Manhattan, N.Y., on Dec. 13, 1913, passed away Friday, July 6, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Margaret of 53 years; and four children, Meghan (Bobby) of New York, Robert of San Diego, Susan of Arizona and Thomas of San Diego. He was a loving grandfather and uncle. He was a New York City policeman for 32 years, retiring as a lieutenant. Robert served in World War II under Patton and in the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the U.S. Army. He was a bronze star and Purple Heart recipient. He will be dearly missed. No services are planned at this time. Information provided by survivors.
