Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona November 10, 1977 A resident of Wickenburg for 33 years and Past Commander of the Kellis-Draper American Legion Post, Hercules Malapanes, 85 died November 1 in Wickenburg. Born in Kalamata, Greece, he was a retired restaurant owner, Graveside services were held Saturday at Wickenburg Cemetery. He was a Master Mason for 50 years, a member of the Wickenburg Masonic Lodge and the Hellenic Lodge of Chicago. Survivors include a daughter, Alpha Wagoner of California, two sons, Hercules Jr. and James William, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
