Sean Joseph Pulley, 18, of Sanders died Monday June 20, 2005 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He was born Sept. 2, 1986 in Colorado Spring, Colorado. He was raised in Sanders and graduated from St. Johns High School May 27, 2005. He married Alicia Wauneka May 26, 2005 at the Justice of the Peace office; they were planning a traditional wedding when he returned. Shortly after graduation he enlisted in the Navy June 10, 2005 in the airman apprentice program. He reported for boot camp at the Recruit Training Command Center in Great Lakes, Illinois.
Sean is survived by his wife, Alicia Pulley of Sanders and their unborn child; father and step-mother, Roy and Modesta Pulley; mother, Rita Burbick; brothers, Lucas and Ty Pulley; grandparents, Joseph and Rose Pulley.
Funeral Services were held Monday, June 27 at the Valley Baptist Church in Sanders, and additional service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28 with full military honors in Phoenix, at the Paradise Valley Christian Church. Interment will be in the National Cemetery in Phoenix. For the time and place of the service in Phoenix, contact Owens Mortuary at (928) 537-2141.
Casket Bearers for the service will be Lucas Pulley, Roy Pulley, Scott Detwiler, Mathew Wauneka and Joshua Wauneka, Andy Farber.
