HIGGINS, Richard Malcolm


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/28/2005 Richard Malcolm Higgins, 66, died Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the RTA Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Lakeside. He was born in Buckeye and graduated from Buckeye High School in 1957. Following high school he attended college for several years. He then served on the Phoenix Police Force. Richard also was involved in promoting arts and craft shows. He was very accomplished at Country and Western dancing competing throughout the entire southwest winning many competitions. In the 90s, Richard moved to Show Low and started No Name Locksmith, which he owned and operated for the last 12 years. He loved riding motorcycles and was a member of the Gold Wing Road Rider Association where he served as assistant director. Richard loved to travel. He was fun loving and always-teased people. Richard was a wonderful friend and husband. Richard is survived by his wife, Feliciana of Show Low and his son Rob. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
