Sybil Bullock Gatewood, 75, of Cibecue died Tuesday, June 21, 2005 in Tucson.
She was born Feb. 18, 1930 in Cibecue.
She is survived by two sisters, Nora Penrod and Lela Bullock of Whiteriver; four sons, Lawrence Gatewood, Delmore Taylay of Cibecue, Matt "Dorrance" Thomas of Springfield, Mo., and Denzo Jefferson of Suisan, Calif.; one daughter, Phoebe Maria of Ramah, New Mexico; eight nieces, Evelyn Peaches of Cibecue, Judy Randall of William, Calif., Carol Schmick of Phoenix, Jeanne Williams, Lori Norval, Susie Way, Rosita Bullock and Rosalind Perry of Whiteriver; one nephew, Larson Williams of Cibecue; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and many more relatives and friends.
A two night wake will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 30 at her residence in Cibecue. A funeral home service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2 with burial in upper Cibecue Cemetery.
