Services for Myron G. (Bud) Darby, Jr., 50, who died last Saturday, were Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church, with burial in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
Darby, a member of the Wickenburg Sheriff’s Posse and a reserve deputy for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department, collapsed and died following pistol practice at the sheriff’s range north of Phoenix.
He was the appliance business in New Jersey, and spent the winter months in Wickenburg the past seven years. He and his wife, Margaret, lived in a home at Rancho de los Caballeros.
Also surviving are two sons, David and Karl, and a sister, Mary Anderson.
Darby also was a member of the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce, the Desert Caballeros and the Trenton Club of Trenton, N.J.
The family requested that friends make donations to the Wickenburg Museum in place of sending flowers.
