BROWN, Clarence C.

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 22, 1977 A widely-known, Wickenburg resident of some years ago, Clarence C. Brown, died recently in Penrose Hospital, Colorado Springs, Colo. He was 101 years old. He was born near St. Louis, and during his life had been a teacher, banker, accountant and merchant. A son, Wilson Brown formerly worked for the Wickenburg Sun, and later operated a variety store in the location now occupied by Double B. Photo Shop. A number of Wickenburg resident recall Mr. Brown here as an active horseman and a bookkeeper. He was a long time member of the Southern Baptist Church. He and his wife, Edna who survives, moved to Salida in 1964.
