The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, July 15, 2007 Richard Heape, 57, of Mesa, suffered a heart attack and passed away in the company of his loving companion, Kristen Moore, on July 8, 2007. A beloved father, son and brother, Rick was known for his generous spirit and will be deeply missed by all that knew him. He was born in San Francisco, Calif., Rick devoted much of his life to improving the lives of others. He was perhaps best known for building Native Air, a nation-wide network of aircraft and medical personnel dedicated to providing emergency transport to those in dire need of treatment. Rick is survived by his mother, Paula, his brothers, Ron and Randy; his sister, Melissa; and his five children, Taylor, Alex, Natalie, Josh and Noah. A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be on Saturday, July 28, 2007, at the Mesa Convention Center, 263 N. Center St., Mesa, Arizona. Information provided by survivors.
