HARRISON, Bill


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, July 14, 2007 Bill Harrison passed away on July 12, 2007, after a long struggle with colon cancer. Bill was born in Opp, Ala., in 1935, and served in the Air Force in 1954. He is survived by his wife Yvonne of 50 years; son William Harrison, of La Sal, Utah; daughter, Linda Forbes, of Prescott, Arizona,; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild due any day; four brothers and one sister. Bill and his wife moved to Prescott in 1964. Bill retired from the Motor Vehicle Enforcement in 1997, Bill and his wife also owned Yvonne’s Pet Grooming and sold one shop in 1999 ant the other shop in 2000. Bill was a member of the Aztlan Lodge and el Zarabah Shrine and Shrine Club. Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his garden. Bill was preceded in death by one brother and his mother and father. Our family would like to thank Mayo Clinic for the wonderful care they have given Bill for six years, and the wonderful care and support YRMC Hospice has given him for the past 15 months. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2007, at Sunrise Funeral Home, Prescott, Valley. Information provided by survivors.
