FALZON, Carmel D.

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Monday, February 8, 2010 Carmel D. Falzon Jr. passed away peacefully at home Jan. 14, 2010 at the age of 53. He was born on Feb. 5, 1956, in Windsor, Canada, to Shirley and Carmel D. Falzon Sr. Carmel grew up and lived in the Detroit, Mich., area. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, proudly serving for six years. In 1994, he moved to Lake Havasu City to be near his ailing father, and his aunts and cousins. Carmel is survived by his son, Wayne Falzon; sisters, Belinda and Anna; brothers, Frank and Michael; aunts, Agnes and Maryanne; and all his cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, one aunt and five uncles. He will be missed by all who knew him, especially his long time friend and companion, Marlies.
