The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/05/2005 Patricia L. Rollins died in a tragic aircraft accident in Connecticut Monday, June 27, 2005. Patricia (Patty) was born Aug. 7, 1950 in Pueblo, Colorado. A longtime resident of Phoenix and a graduate of the University of Phoenix, Patricia was the manager of her husband's dental practice. A dedicated Rotarian and pilot, Patty held many offices in the charities in which she was associated. A survivor of breast cancer, she was an avid advocate of human and animal rights. Her husband Dr. Herbert K. Rollins, II also died in this accident. She was preceded in death by her parents Ardith and Charles Rains. She is survived by sisters Elizabeth J. Hochevar, A. Susan (Steve) Egan of Colorado, and Charlotte R. Rains of Idaho; and five nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held July 8 at 3 p.m. at the Tatum Blvd Church of Christ in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers memorials many be made to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation, Hospice of the Valley and Angel Flight. Arrangements entrusted to Tempe Mortuary.
