Finley Aday, 47, went home to be with Lord June 29, 2005 in Payson.
He was born April 2, 1958 in Whiteriver to Fred Aday, Sr. and Neva Massey. He was reared and attended school in Whiteriver. He graduated from Alchesay High School and was a lifelong resident of Whiteriver. He was an avid Bible reader and enjoyed basketball and television.
He is survived by his father, Fred Aday, Sr., of Whiteriver; sister Bernice Sherry Chee of Whiteriver; his brothers, Fred Aday, Jr., Adam Aday and Lambert Meade, Jr. all of Whiteriver. He is also survived by four nephews, five nieces and seven grandchildren, along with many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Neva M. Aday and brother Lance Aday.
His body will be back to his residence in Seven Mile July 7 at 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the House of God Church in East Fork July 9 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Hazard Walker officiating.
All tribal dignitary, gospel singers and speakers are welcome.
Arrangements were handled by Black's Mortuary of Show Low.
