The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/08/2005 Luis Vega Flores died July 3, 2005 peacefully at his home in Mesa with his loving wife and daughter by his side. He was born Jan. 19, 1913. He was preceded in death by three of his children, Arcenia Flores Welshan, Gloria Flores Harris and Luis Roberto Flores. He is survived by his wife Anita Flores; daughters Melinda Flores-Walker of Chandler, Yolanda Flores of Friday Harbor, Washington, and Sonia Flores; ten grandchildren Micole Matyas, Chris Harris, Marc Matyas, Carrie Mayfield, Doug Welshans, Camden Lewis, Jenifer Merriam, Andy Hampton, Tony Flores, Paulos Flores and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, July 8 with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave. Funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 9 at St. Louis the King Catholic Church, 4331 W. Maryland Ave. Interment will be held at Glendale Memorial Park. Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale handled arrangements.
