Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, February 3, 2010 Sept. 28, 1944 — Jan. 28, 2010 George W. McPherson, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, passed away Thursday. George was a native of Arizona, born in Globe. He served our country as a young man where he learned how to drive a semi and later made driving his preferred profession. He was a very giving man who everyone loved. George met and married his soul mate in Arkansas April 17, 1980. They were married for 28 years when she passed in 2008. His parents, George and Velma; and brother, Larry and his soul mate, Dee, precede George in death. George is survived by his children, Mickey, stepson, D.J., LeAnn and Dustie; grandchildren, Michael, Jeramiah, Kaydee, Tegan and Kay Lee; as well as several sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces and nephews.
