The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/19/2005 Elizabeth Jane Wagner A graveside service will be held for Elizabeth J. Wagner Tuesday, July 19 at 1 p.m. at the Eagar Cemetery. Pastor Mike Taylor of First Southern Baptist Church of Springerville will be conducting. Elizabeth died July 15, 2005 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in McCamey, Texas, July 23, 1928. She was an excellent seamstress. Her survivors are husband O.B. Wagner, Eagar; son Des (Myra) Wagner, Eagar; and daughter Karen Johnson (Allen) Gross, Phoenix, brother Maxwell Cooke, Odessa, Texas; and Jim Cooke, Rockdale, Texas, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren and many friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother and a sister. It was Elizabeth's wish that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the First Southern Baptist Church, Springerville. Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, Eagar is in charge of arrangements.
