Kaelsy W. Rogers, 26, of Gilbert, died in an automobile accident, near Show Low, July 17, 2005.
Kaelsy was born to Homer and Connie Rogers, April 5, 1979 in Mesa. He lived most of his life in Round Valley and was a graduate of Round Valley High School. He was a go-getter. Kaelsy received an associates degree in Business Management and was working toward his Bachelors. He worked as an Enrollment Counselor for the University of Phoenix.
He served a mission to Rio de Janeiro from 1998 to 2000 for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved to fish, play the guitar and golf. And he loved and cherished his family.
His survivors include wife Kindy Rogers, Gilbert; parents J. Homer and Connie M. Rogers, Eagar; brothers James H. Rogers and Joshua Rogers; sisters Sariah J. Finch and Katie M. Cluff, grandmothers Betty Jean Longhurst and Betsy L. Rogers-Merrill; and nine nieces and nephews.
His brother, Steven M. Rogers, died in the accident with him.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, July 23, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eagar Stake Center. He was laid to rest at the Rogers Family Cemetery in Nutrioso.
Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, Eagar, handled the arrangements.
