Owens Livingston Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Kermit Raymond Phillips August 18, 1931 - June 5, 2010 Our devoted husband, father and grandpa, Kermit Phillips, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife Joann by his side on Saturday, June 5, 2010 in Pinetop, Arizona. Kermit and Joann were married for 58 years. He will be cheering on his beloved ASU Sun Devils and Penn State Nittany Lions from a better seat now. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing. In addition to his wife, Joann, he is survived by his children; Steven (Gloria) Phillips of Tucson, AZ, Susan (Alan) Sokolsky of Gilbert, AZ, Jeffrey (Barbara) Phillips of Montoursville, PA, Louise Phillips of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Joshua (Cindy), Charlie, Grace, Owen, Emma, Sydney and his beloved dog, Bessie. Private family services were held at the family home. Memorial Contributions, in Kermit’s name, to the Humane Society of the White Mountains P.O. Box 909 Lakeside, Arizona 85929 have been suggested by his family.
