MORALEZ, Pablo, Sr

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 3, 1976 Pablo Moralez, Sr., of Wickenburg died in Wickenburg Community Hospital on May 16. He was 96. His wife, Valentina, died one week later on May 23 at their home on 214 N. Garcia St. here. She was 87. Mr. and Mrs. Moralez were both born in the state of Durango, Old Mexico. He was born on September 20, 1879. Her birthdate was February 14, 1889. They were married September 10, 1905, and moved to the United States soon after. They settled on a ranch 12 miles east of Congress where they raised angora goats and cattle. The couple retired in 1967 and moved to Wickenburg. Rosary was said for Mr. Moralez May 17. Mass was held the following day at St. Anthony's Church in Wickenburg. Rosary for Mrs. Moralez was said on May 24 and mass was said the following day. They were both buried in the Garcia Cemetery here. Survivors include three sons, Angel Moralez of Oregon, and David and Pablo Moralez, Jr., of Congress; four daughters, Josephine Blevins and Mary Cook of Wittmann, Pauline Colombo of Wickenburg and Marie King of Parker; 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
