Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Sunday, June 6, 2010 Harley R. Pittman, 31, of Flagstaff died Wednesday, June 2, 2010. He was born Sept. 29, 1978, to Tami Pittman in Syracuse, N.Y. As an infant, they returned to Arizona. Arizona and Colorado were his homes, although he was well-traveled by the time he was 12. He attended Cromer Elementary School, East Flagstaff Junior High and graduated from Coconino High School in 1998. Through his years, he enjoyed the opportunities to learn and grow through his employment. He worked for ADOT in the materials lab, Little America Travel Center, Apria health care and The Peaks Assisted Living Community. Mr. Pittman was a great cook and enjoyed the times he cooked for others. He was proud to be a recovering alcoholic and donated much time to helping others to the road to recovery, including the jail ministry. He is survived by his grandparents, Jen and Melvin Hamilton, of Flagstaff; mother Tami Pitman-Keenan-Rouse of Mesa; brother Kenneth Rouse of Flagstaff; sisters Samantha and Stacey Rouse of Mesa; aunt Jeri Puccio of Flagstaff; uncles John, Jim and Russell Pittman; and his dog. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert "Speed" Keenan, in 1991. May he join him now and ride in heaven forever more. His family is blessed by knowing Mr. Pittman lives on in the many lives he has touched through the years. A celebration of his life will be Saturday, June 12, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Christ's Church of Flagstaff, 3475 E. Soliere Ave. Condolences can be sent to his family at www.norvelowensmortuary.com.
