HANSEN, Thelma

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/22/2005 Thelma Porter Hansen, 86, died July 18, 2005. She was born in Joseph City, to Jared and Lucy Porter. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She leaves behind her children Raija (Terry) Whipple of Lakeside, Jerri Kay Rush of Potosi, Mo., and Craig O. (Ruth) Hansen of Mesa; sisters Elsie Webb of New Mexico and Dora McCulla of Mesa; brother Richard A. Porter of Gilbert; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Thelma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank as well as two grandchildren. Visitation and services were held Thursday, July 21 at Melcher's Mission Chapel, 6625 E. Main St. in Mesa. Interment will be in the Lakeside cemetery Friday, July 22 at 2 p.m. Melcher's Mission Chapel of Mesa handled arrangements.
