Jessica Louise Johnson, 17, died Saturday, July 16, 2005 in Colorado.
She was born in Whiteriver. Jessica grew up in Show Low, Safford, Tucson, and Colorado. She had just completed her Junior Year of High School. Jessica worked as a cashier at a local grocery store in Nucla, Colorado. She was a very outspoken person, and loved to write poetry. She enjoyed traveling and seeing new places.
Jessica is survived by her special friend and companion in life, Kory Files of Nucla, Colorado; parents, Charles Johnson of Nucla, Colorado, Connie D. Thomas of Tucson; sister, Georgina Johnson of Safford, Sierra Benskin of Tucson; Brother, Cody Benskin of Tucson; maternal grandparents, Bennie and Nellie Thomas of Show Low; special grandfather, Pat Haws of Lakeside; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 22 at the Show Low Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will be in the Show Low Cemetery.
