KING, Jennie Laverne

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/22/2005 Jennie Laverne King, 69, of Show Low died July 16, 2005 in White Cone. She was born May 10, 1936 in White Cone, to John and Lena Reed. She enjoyed fishing, was a seamstress and liked weaving Navajo rugs and making Navajo crafts. She is survived by her husband Harold W. King of Show Low; sons Nathan King of Show Low and Douglas King of Mesa; brothers Anthony Yazzie Reed of Naschitti, New Mexico and Charlie Yazzie Reed of White Cone; sister Gladys Belin of Winslow. She is also survived by eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St. Rita's Catholic Church Thursday, July 21 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Show Low Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Black's Mortuary of Show Low.
