GREER, Maude

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/29/2005 Maude P. Greer died July 22, 2005 in Mesa at the Citadel Care Center. She was born March 20, 1918 in St. Johns to Mary MaSylvia Peterson and Henry John Platt. Maude was preceded in death by her beloved husband Phil, one grandson and one great-grandson. She was a life-time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her husband were Arizona natives and Arizona dairy farmers for most of their married lives. Services was held Wednesday, July 27 at 11 a.m. at the Century Gardens Ward building in Mesa. Internment was held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were made by Bunkers Family Funeral Home. Contribution can be made to the Diabetic Research Association. Survivors include her two sons, Philip (Gloria) from Queen Creek and Paul (Marsha) from Concord, California and daughter Sylvia (Lanny) Westover from Newnan, Georgia, also 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
