A 19 year-old motorcyclist was killed in Yarnell early Sunday when the cycle he was riding crashed into the rear of a pickup driven by his wife.
Department of Public Safely Patrolman William Hollingshead said Donna Stewart, 19, apparently made a left turn onto Broadway in Yarnell and crossed the center line when the truck she was driving was struck by the motorcycle driven by her husband Mark Stewart.
Mrs. Stewart was not injured, but was treated for shock after she learned the cyclist was her husband.  They married in July 1975.
Yavapai County Deputy Sherriff Richard Mayer said the motorcycle Stewart was riding belonged to Melvin A Dukes, Yarnell.  Dukes purchased the bike Saturday and Stewart was taking it for a test run.
