Military services were held September 23 at the Mercer Mortuary in Phoenix for Harry Shaw Swan, 68, a resident of Wickenburg.

Swan died September 21 in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix.  Born in Westchester, New York, he was a realtor.  He came to Arizona three years ago.

Swan was a veteran of WWII and was 1952 Republican candidate for governor of Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Alice, of Wickenburg, a son Harry Jr., of Los Angeles and a sister in California.
